Stomach Fat Loss Tips

Lose Stomach Fat By Following 6 Simple Steps

If you’re looking for a way to lose your stomach fat over a period of time and therefore don’t want to ‘crash-diet’ it is definitely possible to take the sensible approach to the six steps of nutrition.

These nutritional steps are progressive and one leads easily to the next one. These steps facilitate a lifestyle change rather than a crash diet which never works for the long term, in fact they are culpable for your weight yo-yoing up and down. So to get you started on your stomach fat loss tips, read on…

Step 1 – This sounds a bit crazy but you must eat five or six meals a day. This spreads meals over the course of a day rather than just eating one or two large meals this prevents the body entering ‘famine mode’ and thus prevents fat storage.

Step 2 – Limit your intake of processed foods and sugars. This includes soft drinks, frozen prepared dinners, also the obvious no-nos like cookies and crisps or any candy.. You should also limit your intake of white flour foods and deli meats.

Step 3 – Eat more vegetables and fruit. They provide you with a load of minerals and vitamins, they’re going to bolster your health; they are not very calorie-dense, in fact a lot of vegetables are calorie negative so you’re going to be able to eat a large volume of food without taking onboard many calories.

Step 4 – Drink more water and cut out calorie-containing beverages. That sort of goes along with Step 2, with the sugar, but be sensible, you know those lattes and cappuchinos are loaded with sugar.

Even the new craze for ‘vitamin water’ should be avoided as these so called healthy drinks have on average 40gms of carbs on board, (it pays to read the labels)

Most people don’t understand that drinking high calorie sodas etc aren’t going to quell their hunger, so you’re not going to compensate and eat less food.

But by drinking a large glass of water before a meal, you’ll be part filling your stomach and get the feeling of being full when eating much more quickly.

Step 5 – Focus on consuming lean proteins throughout the day. Avoid deli meats, burgers and other processed meats. Replace these processed meats with fish. Even salmon, once thought of as a fish to avoid due to it’s fat content, but they actually include a great source of Omega3 fatty acids. Chicken, lean red meat, pork are lean proteins and can be digested as proteins at all mealtimes.

The significance of eating enough protein is that it’s going to provide you with the building blocks for muscle fibre, and it’s going tp help prevent the reduction and loss of lean body mass whilst you’re dieting. This is so important, as when you lose lean body mass your metabolism slows down and tou wont burn as much fat.

In addition, protein makes you feel fuller. Protein also has a greater thermic effect, that means it takes your body more energy to digest protein than it does to digest carbohydrates or fats.

Step 6 – Wholemeal pasta, rice, potatoes, oatmeal etc should be reserved for eating after exercise or for breakfast. These starch and carbohydrate foods, will then be utilised as fuel rather than fat storage..

This is due to insulin and how it works in the body. Insulin is released when our blood sugar goes up and needs to lower the volume of sugar in the blood it can transport the sugar to muscles or fat cells.

If your muscles aren’t acceptable to the sugar, ie they are in a relaxed state, the sugar is carried to the fat cells.

After your workouts, insulin comes up, but your muscle cells are more receptive to it. So when your blood sugar rises, insulin is released, but now insulin is transporting the blood sugar to your muscles and not your fat cells.

So that’s why you need to limit these starchy carbohydrates to a time when your body is going to feed your tired muscles not your fat cells.

When you bring these simple nutritional tactics into play and you will begin to lose your stomach fat over time.. Remember no more counting calories. Just follow these steps outlined above.

To Lose Belly Fat You Need To Understand Carbs

Carbohydrates:  The Good, the Bad, and the Healthy

Carbs are a part of nearly every dieter’s vocabulary.  A number of diets, especially Atkins, are famous for fighting carb consumption. But you should realise that not every carbohydrate is created alike. Getting the right balance of ‘good carbs’ is so important to control your weight loss. In my best way to lose belly video you can discover how I lost 6″ from my belly by following the simple techniques in the Diet Solution program, which concentrates heavily in balancing carbohydrates.

While it is true that you can lose weight by cutting carbs, carbs are also necessary for a good diet.

To begin with, we should define carbohydrates. Carbs are derived from a number of different sources. They are present in bread, pasta, fruits, and vegetables. There are also a number of different types of carbs i.e. carbs come in the form of sugars, starches, and fibre.

For the most part, the digestive system divides carbs into sugar molecules which can be taken into the bloodstream. The majority of carbs are transformed into glucose or blood sugar.  In this way, carbs provide energy for our bodies. If the glucose is not burnt up then it will be stored as fat. On the other hand people who lack sufficient carbs in their diet may suffer from tiredness and debility.

Good Carbs

Carbs can be filled with nutrients. For instance, fruit contains vitamins A and C, fibre, and folate. Vegetables are also a good vitamin and fibre source; in fact, they usually contain a greater variety of minerals than other foods do. Whole grains can provide you with fibre, protein, and B vitamins.  Legumes can provide you with protein, iron, and potassium.

Bad Carbs To Avoid

But carbs can also be potentially bad for your health. For instance, cookies, potato chips, and soft drinks also contain carbs in the form of sugar and flour. You should understand that refined carbohydrates have been linked with diabetes and heart diseases, making these carbs a dangerous choice.  There are a number of good reasons to ban these carbs from your diet.  For instance, they are extremely high in calories and offer little in the way of nutrients.  Because they contain no fibre, they will not keep you satiated. In fact, such carbs offer you zero nutrients, but plenty of fat.

You should therefore, avoid processed grains and sugars. Instead, eat whole grains, fruits, and vegetables to maximize your nutritional intake. Instead of eliminating carbs completely from your diet, simply ban those that increase the size of your belly by adding fat.

Simple And Complex Carbs

There is another way to think about carbs.  You can generally divide them into two categories: simple and complex.  A simple carb, such as sugar, promotes weight gain.  As a result, you should select low-sugar foods, especially low-sugar beverages.

In contrast, complex carbohydrates promote weight loss.  Health experts recommend that dieters consume between 55 and 65 percent of their calories from these types of carbs.  Such carbs include fruits and vegetables and a number of other natural foods.

But it isn’t enough to simply eat fruits and vegetables.  You also need to avoid fattening sauces and condiments such as mayonnaise and butter.  By adding butter to your broccoli or mayonnaise to your potatoes, you can raise the calorie amount exponentially, sabotaging the good work you’ve done.

Don’t Get Confused…

Dietary information about carbs can be confusing.  However, a number of dieticians say that, while you might not want to cut carbs out of your diet entirely, you should eat carbs only in moderation.

Health experts also say that you should limit your carb intake to good carbs and pass up the bad ones.  By following such a plan, you should have energy—but you shouldn’t pack on the weight.  It may be difficult at first to follow such a diet plan, since many of us are conditioned to eat bad carbs in order to elevate our moods, with a sugar rush.

Make Your Weightloss Easier…

Wouldn’t it be simpler for you to have a plan of eating and minimal exercise already set out for you? And one that would cover the next 28 days?
